Clean welds are essential! There must be no oxygen around the weld zone inside the pipe, as this will damage the material's surface, leading to faster degradation and creating a breeding ground for bacteria.
The pipes must be able to drain, so the welds must not be over- or under-beaded, as this would leave product residue at the weld site.

OxyGone welding tools make it easy to meet the requirements! When argon/formier is directed between the pads, the oxygen is quickly pushed out, and this happens without creating overpressure in the weld zone. As a result, the weld is perfectly smooth and clean.
