The gas is blown in and out through the shaft piece, where the inlet holes are smaller than the outlet holes to reduce overpressure and ensure that the silicone discs do not get too hot. In the flange, a metal plate is used at the welding end without the silicone disc to prevent it from being damaged by excessive heat.
